In order to improve the quality of the Youthpass implementation, SALTO Training and Cooperation Resource Centre, together with its partners, organizes training courses on Youthpass, learning and recognition of non-formal learning. Below you can find short information on our regular training offers. When the training courses are open for applications, it will be announced here and in the SALTO-YOUTH European Training Calendar.

Youthpass <3 Corps - Guiding the Learning Journey
Online Course
The course aims to empower and equip support persons active in the European Solidarity Corps – such as mentors, coaches, youth workers and others – with the information and competences they need to implement the Youthpass process.
Specifically, it aims to
- reflect on the learning value of the European Solidarity Corps projects;
- introduce the Youthpass process and how it fits in with the various actions of the European Solidarity Corps programme;
- discuss how to support reflection on learning in European Solidarity Corps projects;
- reflect on the competences needed for supporting learning through self-assessment and reflection;
- offer support for expressing one’s learning outcomes from such projects in words.
The target groups of this training course are project organisers and support persons within the European Solidarity Corps programme including mentors, coaches, tutors, youth workers as well as young people carrying out a Solidarity Project. Additionally, everyone who is interested in supporting learning processes is welcome to join and explore the resources available.

One 2 One - supporting learning face-to-face
This 5-day training course aims to empower and equip youth workers with the competences needed to work individually with young people in order to support their learning processes. The target group of the training are professionals and volunteers - youth workers, youth leaders, youth trainers, mentors, educators - who see a need for developing their competences in this area. The training course is based on the One 2 One handbook, ETS competence model for youth workers to work internationally and the Youthpass process. 5 editions of the training has been realised since 2012. Tuning In - to Learning and Youthpass
The main aim of Tuning In is to contribute to the development of quality in youth work, with a focus on learning and reflection. The framework of the course is the Youthpass process. During the training, participants explore and experience a wide variety of methods and tools around learning, reflection, peer-learning, competence development and formulating learning outcomes. The target group of this 5-day course are youth work practitioners - youth workers, mentors, trainers, etc. - who work with young people professionally or voluntarily and who are interested in developing the learning aspect of their work with young people. Four editions of this training have been realised so far.
